Day 1: Arrival in Pristina/Peja
Arrive at Pristina Airport, where a private transfer takes you to the historic city of Peja. Depending on your arrival time, we recommend some superb natural and cultural landmarks of Kosovo, such as the UNESCO Patriarchate of Peja Monastery, or a cascade of waterfalls.

Day 2: Reka e Alega to Hajla peak to Drelaj
Short transport from Pepaj or Drelaj to Guri i Kuq guesthouse
From little village Reka Allages, you will climb the beautiful Hajla 2403m peak, with Montenegro on your left and Kosovo on your right.
The hike takes you first along a forest trail, past a great viewpoint of the Accursed Mountains to the grade that leads you up to Hajla. The hike is moderate and leads you to Drelaj at the end, from where you can hitchhike back to Peja.

Day 3: Kuqishte – Milishevc | 12km
Today's route begins with an ascent to the mountain lake, Leqinat Kuqishtes (1,890m), before heading east to the glacial lake, Leqinati Drelajve. The route makes a second ascent to reach Jelenka Pass (2,275m), which offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Continue along the borderline between Kosovo and Montenegro, crossing the border at various points, before reaching a wetland area, where the route then enters re-enters Kosovo. Your day of walking ends in Milishevc.

Day 5:
This stage from Gacaferi, through Pllaqica e Junikut, to Gropa e Erenikut offers a diverse journey through various terrains and landscapes. The route preserves the essence of time, allowing hikers to experience the painful past, the present, and the promising future.
The journey begins with a gentle ascent through pine forests, leading to the enchanting Liqeni i Tropojës. From there, the trail moves through a mostly flat section before taking a second ascent, which ends with a panoramic descent offering breathtaking views of the wild nature. At the highest points, hikers are rewarded with magnificent views of lakes like Liqeni i Tropojës, Liqeni i Zemrës, and the Gjeravica lakes, located near Maja e Gjeravicës (2,656 m), the source of the Erenik River.
Recently added orientation signs make navigation easier, especially at turns such as Qafa e Ali Qelës. From this point, the trail descends towards Liqeni i Zemrës, providing alluring views that reflect the natural beauty of the mountains. Informational signs highlight the unique characteristics of the Dinaric Alps, enriching the hikers' experience.
At Gjeravuca lakes, the trail splits into two directions: one leading towards Deçan and the other towards Gjeravica, the highest peak in Kosovo at 2,656 meters. The ascent to this point offers stunning views and an opportunity to enjoy the magic of the Erenik River's source, creating a refreshing atmosphere that allows hikers to experience all four seasons within a few hours. For those preferring an easier route, the descent, after several kilometers, passes through meadows and panoramic landscapes dotted with shepherds and flocks of sheep, blending harmoniously with nature, until reaching Gropa e Erenikut.

Day 6 – Departure Day
After enjoying breakfast, we will prepare for departure. If time permits before our transfer, we will make a visit to the Monastery of Deçan, one of the most important cultural and spiritual landmarks in the region. Built in the 14th century, this Serbian Orthodox monastery is renowned for its stunning medieval frescoes and peaceful atmosphere. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its exceptional historical and architectural value. This visit offers a meaningful cultural conclusion to our adventure.
